NORWAY
We visited the crying baby at the Gustav Vigeland park and the Munch cafe in Oslo. But, the most exciting thing that happened was when DAD gave me a new pal - Teddy Bonez - who he found in a Halloween shop.
As you can see, we became the bestest of buddies. He was really weird and I couldn't understand everything he said as he spoke Norwegian and he kept calling me TUD...
However, Bonez was not as weird as the trolls everywhere...
Once again we ended up on a boat, this time we headed up the west coast and it was sooooo beautiful. I spent most of the journey looking at the different lights and it was sooooo peaceful, not like being in the cupboard with all the bears at home.
Our cabin even had a painting of MUM on the wall... ouch!
Bonez came in real handy when I wanted an elevated view from our cabin...
We sailed all the way up to Kirkenes, which lies 15 kilometres from the Russian border. Yikes! I kept a lookout for Pootin, just in case. We stayed at the Ice Hotel and I had the bestest time hanging out with all my buddies.
I patted lots of Huskies at the hotel. My favourite one was Otto. He looks very sad in this picture but I think he was just tired as he had been dragging a sleigh through the ice for hours and some of the tourists were fatties and, well... I told him I would make sure that MUM didn't climb aboard on his next run... ouch, again!
ROME
I was sooooo excited to be back in the Eternal City. I went down to Piazza Navona and all the statues waved at me. I also swirled down the bannister at the Sistine Chapel yelling " Vi amo tutti" until the guards kicked me out! MUM and DAD visited all their favourite places and we celebrated DAD's 70th birthday at the same bear restaurant where MUM celebrated her 60th years ago!
We had a smashing lunch and me and Bonez also hung out with Husky, who came all the way from Kirkenes to live with DAD's great-niece, Elettra, in Rome. In fact, Bonez begged to be allowed to stay behind when he saw Elettra's bedroom full of toys. He decided that he would have a better time there than being squeezed up in the cupboard with all the bears in Sydney. I was sad, but also very happy, as we can visit him in Rome next time. MUM threw coins in the Trevi Fountain to make sure we do return again sometime soon.
Home again...
