Family
Jock
Now it is time to introduce you to my family. We all live in a cupboard with my MUM's trousers (there is not much room left!). Our cousin Jock arrived by post from Scotland. He was sent by my Auntie Lynda. I think the reason was because he needed to dry out. He borrows DAD's whisky and it's a good thing he doesn't smoke, otherwise we would all catch fire from the fumes.
BeanS
This is my little half-brother Beans. He is the cutest little bear in the world. He is always asking me questions about everything. I am supposed to take him to school every day, but we forget to go sometimes. Then we have to go to the library and read books, so we can answer the BIG PEOPLE'S questions when they forget something, 'cause they are getting old and losing their memories.
TIMMIE
This is my cuz Timmie. He lives in London and sometimes comes on trips with me. In this photo we are holidaying in Greece. Timmie is very shy, but he is a real pal and one day we hope he comes to visit us in Sydney and we can all party on in the cupboard.
The Rabbit
I am a bit worried about this adopted member of the family 'cause he is just plain NUTS! The Rabbit was rescued from a burrow which was actually a crack den in Skank Alley, situated around the corner from where we live. The Rabbit keeps trying to escape from the basket, as you can see in this picture. His eyes are always open and he never goes to sleep.
The Rabbit has finally up and left us. He decided that life in the cupboard was a bit boring so he had a bath and cleaned his teeth and scurried off to live with the gorgeous little girl who lives next door. He chose Easter so she thinks he is for 'real'.
We bears will miss him but MUM said she will keep checking the re-cycle bin in case he wears out his welcome next door.

Grandpa
Grandpa is very old. He is 59. Not sure how old 9 is, but I know how old 5 is. He belongs to DAD. Grandpa got dragged through a tar puddle when he was younger and he looks like he has Karposi's Sarcoma - whatever that is? He is a bit ga-ga so he just sits in the cupboard all day.
Grandad
Grandad is as old as MUM, but not as fat! He comes from Africa, but I think he was made in England. He is also a bit ga-ga and just sits in the cupboard all day with Grandpa. They are supposed to look after the Rabbit, but they don't remember who he is most days.
LUDDIE
Here is an addition to our family. You may not recognise him 'cause he has ditched the lederhosen and had a bath and joined us in the cupboard. Luds is Unkee Kneel's bear and is now adopted by us since the bestest Unkee in the world went to the BIG PEOPLE's place high up in the sky. We all miss him soooooo much and if you look closely you can see how wet our glass eyes are. But, the good thing is that Luds now has a permanent smile on his wonky face and he seems to be settling in well. I know he is sad, but we love him heaps, so he is welcome to squeeze up and we just hope MUM doesn't buy some new pants at Target so the space gets even smaller.
MISS MISSY
Here is the latest addition to our family. Miss Missy was left at the concierge desk by Unkee Adam and Auntie Angie. She nearly didn't make it up the stairs as the concierge had her eye on her. She is the same size as Luddie and is soooooo bossy and we think that is why the Rabbit up and left in a hurry. She reckons that we bears should practise social distancing while COVID-19 is still with us and here is a picture of her pushing Luds away. It is great to have a girl in the basket and I am giving her a list of chores to do so that she feels in control. I can now sit back and do as DAD does - nothing all day... OH HAPPY DAY indeed!
