Freycinet National Park
When we were in Tasmania, we stayed at a lodge in Freycinet National Park. It was so beautiful and every night there were fat possums and wallabies hanging around our hut. They were really friendly, but not as friendly as my new friend Rastas who is a real sea-dog. Here is a picture of us getting to know each other as we set off on a cruise around Wineglass Bay.
Here we are looking out for marine life. Rastas has his tongue out checking to see which way the wind was blowing. I had one of my glass eyes on the lookout to make sure he didn't decide that I would become his snack 'cause as you can see in this picture, he has a big tongue! We did get to see a huge killer whale and the skipper said that we were lucky as he'd never seen one before. The whale reminded me of MUM and as I see her every day, I didn't get over-excited.
Wineglass Bay is very beautiful and as you can see in the big picture the water is turquoise and so clear. I wanted to go for a swim, but MUM said that the boat would probably leave without me. I tried my first oyster and you can see that I did not feel very well afterwards. It may be because I guzzled MUM's champagne when she wasn't looking.
