MONA
When we were in Hobart, we went to MONA, the Museum of Old and New Art. It was really good. I love Zizi - the affectionate sofa, which vibrates when you sit on it and makes purring sounds when you stroke it. I was having the best time laughing my head off when the visitors sat down and got a big fright, especially when they found me hiding in the faux fur!
This is not the real entrance to the gallery, but it should be. The day we were there was the last market day of the season and this was the entrance to the tea-ceremony house. Weird huh! All the tents were covered in pink streamers and everyone was sitting around on pink beanbags. I thought it all looked very pretty and reminded me of Mardi Gras. There was a group of ladies playing drums at the outdoor concert. I think they may have been the Dykes On Bikes as they looked like the Sydney girls and there were lots of motorbikes in the car park. It took us hours to see everything and I was so exhausted at the end of the day. Here is a picture of me asleep on my gallery guide.
