ROME
I love Rome. I first went there when I was one. Here I am being cuddled by a statue at Cinecitta. MUM and DAD always visit the film studios when they are in Rome 'cause my Unkee Arturo works there. He is a hairdresser to the stars. He hasn't worked on me yet, but he promised that when I become famous he will fix my fur.
Here I am sitting in Piazza Farnese. It is 11am and I am having a cappuccino. I wanted a cafe coretto, but MUM said the carabinieri would put me in care if they saw me drinking it 'cause I am only four. I wanted to tell her that she should go into care and have her mouth sewn up to stop her eating! But I thought I had better not, as we were having a good time looking at the cute waiters.
Here I am at the bottom of Piazza di Spagna looking down via Condotti. I have no idea why the steps are Spanish as I couldn't see any tapas or sangria on them. However, there were lots of cute boys in toreador pants parading up and down the steps. No wonder this place is called bella Roma!
This is me in front of Bernini's fountain in Piazza Navona. All the statues are half naked. It is a very famous place and I want to come back during the festive season and see all the stalls selling Christmas stuff. In the far corner of the piazza is the bestest toy shop full of stuffed toys that are bigger than me. I would rather sit in there and talk to all the animals with cottonwool stuffed between their ears, but MUM and DAD keep dragging me around to visit all the churches. I'm just a stuffed toy for chrissakes... what good is all that culture to me? MUM had 60th birthday drinks in Piazza Navona. Here I am all dressed up and sampling the prosecco. It was delicious and I especially loved the bubbles that stuck on my nose. I am wearing a special collar that is made of leather and diamantes which spell chopin. I think it is Italian slang for the word shopping.
