Coolum
Last weekend we flew to Coolum which is on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. It takes less than one and a half hours. MUM was too mean to buy me a seat ticket and then she got all worried about me not having a seatbelt, so she jammed me in between the two seats in front. The flight attendant was not very amused, but he was so nice. He gave me an ice-cream and MUM had to pay for it ('cause we were on Virgin and they are as mean as MUM) and she got cross with me because it was very expensive and then I felt sick and well... she ended up getting some of it too.
When we arrived in Coolum they had all sorts of things to buy at the airport. Here's a picture of me picking out a pair of thongs to wear. I got really confused 'cause I thought they were pieces of string that beautiful people wear around their bottoms to show them off. MUM told me that in the UK they are called flip-flops. Now that's a much better name as when I put them on and 'cause I have no toes, that's what they did!
We stayed in Unkee David and Unkee Jeff's beautiful house high up in the hills. Here's a picture of me hanging tightly on to the balcony railing with the palm trees all around me. I was so scared I was going to fall off and get pecked by bush turkeys. Or worse still drown in the pool at the bottom of the garden. I remembered how I had to hang on when we were on the Bollywood bus on the way to Kuala Lumpur, so I just did what I did then.
On the Sunday night the boys were preparing a party for the BIG PEOPLE. It was soooooo much fun and there was heaps of yummy food. I tried to help, but I couldn't chop anything 'cause I have no fingers, but I did have a look for any spiders that may have been hiding in the fruit bowl.
The BIG PEOPLE had a merry ol' time and before dinner they all had Martinis. MUM couldn't stop talking (in between eating...) and the next day we went on a trip to look at the Glass House Mountains. They look like upside down Martini glasses. What do you think?
