Palm Beach
Here is a picture of me with Kandii, my Auntie Sonya's new puppy. We are waiting to catch the ferry to Palm Beach. I had only met Kandii the day before and her picture is not going to be put up in the family gallery until she stops clamping my head between her jaws - she is worse than the lion in Venice! As you can see in this picture she is very cute, but I am a bit scared of her. Don't tell anyone, but I think I am also a bit jealous of her 'cause she gets ALL the attention when we are out together. She runs around and licks everyone's hands and I just sit there stuffed full of cottonwool not being able to move. I think I may try licking people's hands when I meet them, but they may get sticky from my honey saliva.
If you look closely at this picture you can see me perched up by the sign in the far right hand corner. MUM put me there so I could spot any celebrities coming to Palm Beach for the day. Unfortunately there weren't any to be seen, but I did get my photo taken by lots of tourists who thought I was lost. I told them I belonged to Elle Macpherson ('cause I heard she has a house nearby) and if they saw her on the beach, to tell her where I was.
We went out to sea on Auntie Sonya's friend's boat. It was a beautiful day as the sun was shining. I heard that La Nina has gone away. Not sure who she is, but she must have been sad 'cause she cried all day for weeks. Anyway, the BIG PEOPLE had a slap up lunch and lots of wine and I had to steer the boat as they all fell asleep. It's a good thing I had been on a boat with BIG PEOPLE before, so I knew what to do.
Kandii came good after all 'cause she kept a look-out for any water police who may have stopped us. She even managed to order coffees off the floating cappuccino boat so we could sober the BIG PEOPLE up. The man on the boat was not surprised getting orders from a dog and a stuffed toy, which makes me think he is used to it, or he had sunstroke like Kandii and me in this last picture. My nose got so red and I think it may start to peel. Kandii managed to make friends with one of the ducks in the far right hand corner of this picture. I'm glad Auntie Sonya sobered up and put a stop to the idea of Kandii bringing the duck home, 'cause I think it may have ended up on the BBQ.
