MOGO WILDLIFE PARK
We have all been in 'iso' for weeks and when the restrictions were lifted, MUM and DAD decided to visit the Mogo Wildlife Park at Mogo, to make sure all the animals were okay because of the COVID-19 pandemic and, before that, the bushfires that swept through the south coast in summer. I was so excited as I was going stir-crazy in the cupboard and the arrival of Missy has made things quite different as she is really bossy and I needed to get away for a couple of days.
I had a smashing time getting to know all my new friends. I kept feeding the deer until the zoo-keeper came over and threatened to lock me up with the snow leopard, who was very lonely and hungry... He also caught me trying to climb over the fence and visit the silver-back gorilla to tell him he could come home with us as he looked like MUM's twin . I got a mighty clip around the baldies from you know who and a lecture on social distancing.
The rest of the day I fed the giraffes who were greedier than MUM - ouch! - and made friends with all the other animals - big and small. I promised to return to visit them again one day and, as you can see, there were many species and, apart from the snow leopard, they all seemed happy enough. I told them all that they had more space than we bears in the cupboard at home and they got to meet different people every day and didn't get ticked off every time they did something wrong and, well, what happened in Mogo stays in Mogo.
